In this two-channel video installation, I employed video projections, materials, space, and audience participation as a means of generating dialogue among physical sensations, surroundings, the architecture, our psyches, and the materials themselves. I created another dimension to the video projections by covering the ground surface with Mylar, a highly reflective material that can trap heat and prevent wind and humidity. Because my sensations were greatly invaded by the cold, darkness, and dust as I was working in that raw space, the Mylar represents a sense of insecurity and urgency that was embedded into this installation itself.
