This kinetic water installation was operated by two sets of mechanical devices. Circulated Water Landscape series was inspired by the ideology that drove how traditional Chinese landscape painters composed their works, that is, employing multiple viewpoints, timelines, and spaces. In representing the phenomena of running water, I created a mechanical yet poetic landscape to represent the idea of a post-landscape, where our bodies, new materiality, and a sense of mobility converge.
