In this performance sculpture, I question the relationship between individuals and society and the overly elaborate formalities in Asian cultures. My body combines with the sculpture in this performance in which I cut, sew, and wear nine sweaters at the same time. Each sweater symbolizes the individual in an Asian group, and in particular, represents the role women play in a conservative society. The process of combining each sweater implies how individuals lose their characteristics and freedom in order to become a part of the larger society.
