This video questions the function of ceremonies when people misunderstand or misuse the real meaning of religion. I chanted the Heart Sutra but played my voice recording reversely. This sutra is highly influential and widely translated in Buddhism. On the screen, divided eyes look in different directions and the mouth movements do not match the voice. The distractions turn a solemn ceremony into nonsense.
